This Is Who I Am, and This Is How I'll Remain

I am the poetic bird
Who sings songs of
love, peace, humanity, goodness 
In a time that wants me silent. 

I refuse the cage
Even if it were made of gold, 
For freedom is my air, 
And words are my wings. 

My words shall be
A revolution of light, 
Illuminating the caves of darkness, 
Of worn-out customs, 
And restrictive traditions, 
And obscure thoughts. 

My words shall be
A revolution of liberation
That tears down walls
And shatters chains. 

My words shall be, 
Always and forever, 
Free and proud, 
A liberated light
That no darkness can imprison. 

I am the poetic bird 
Who doesn't fear the storms, 
But learns to dance with the winds.
This is who I am, and this is how I'll remain.

هكذا أنا، وهكذا سأبقى

أنا الطائر الشاعري
الذي يغني أغاني
الحب والسلام والإنسانية والخير 
في زمنٍ يريدني صامتًا. 

أرفض القفص
حتى لو كان من ذهب، 
فالحرية هي هوائي،
والكلمة هي جناحاي. 

ستكون كلماتي
ثورةً من النور،
تُنيرُ كهوفَ الظلام،
من عاداتٍ بالية،
وتقاليدَ مقيدة،
وأفكارًا مُظلمة. 

ستكون كلماتي
ثورةَ التحرير
التي تهدمُ الجدران
وتحطمُ القيود. 

ستكون كلماتي،
دائمًا وأبدًا، 
حُرَّةً أبيَّة،
نُورًا حرًا
لا يسجنهُ ظلام،

أنا الطائر الشاعري
الذي لا يخاف من العواصف،
بل يتعلم الرقص مع الرياح. 
هكذا أنا، وهكذا سأبقى.
