The Reign of Autumn

Autumn has proclaimed its reign,
with decrees of fierce winds
that strip the trees of their robes,
as golden leaves fall,
to cover the earth like a royal mantle.

The armies of warmth retreat,
and the armies of cold begin to spread,
riding the breeze across the sky.

The birds have ceased their songs,
and some prepare to flee away from the cold. 

The days grow short and the nights grow long,
the reign of autumn has begun.

The trees stand bare in its kingdom,
a fleeting beauty, reminding us that all things pass away.
The sun sets early,
casting its shadows upon life's colors.

Cold spreads through the body,
as a reminder to prepare for the season of frost.

حكم الخريف 

​الخريف قد أعلن حكمه،
بمراسيم الرياح العاتية،
التي تجرد الأشجار من أرديتها،
لتتساقط الأوراق الذهبية،
وتغطي الأرض كوشاح ملكي.

​تتراجع جيوش الدفء،
وتبدأ جيوش البرد في الانتشار
راكبةً النسيم عبر السماء.

​توقفت الطيور عن أغانيها،
ويستعد البعض للهروب بعيدًا عن البرد. 

تقصر الأيام وتطول الليالي،
بدأ حكم الخريف.

​تقف الأشجار عارية في مملكته،
جمال عابر، يذكرنا أن كل شيء يزول،
تغرب الشمس مبكرًا،
وتلقي بظلالها على ألوان الحياة.

​ينتشر البرد في الجسد،
كتذكير بالاستعداد لموسم الصقيع.
