Our Friendship Is Not an Illusion
My friend, Baloo, you who have made your friendship a homeland,
I am Mowgli, a prisoner of walls, but free with you,
Free with your words that wipe away my wounds like morning dew,
And turn my cage into a sky.
You are the one who taught me that friends are like stars,
They are not always seen, but they are always there,
Present in every word I inscribe on the wall,
In every letter that transforms into a star illuminating my darkness.
You are the shadow that accompanies me when the light recedes,
And you are the light that fills the corners of my cage when it arrives.
With your simple words, like raindrops,
You washed the dust of loneliness from my soul.
Our friendship is not an illusion,
But the truth I hold onto between my lines,
It is the poem that is not read with the eyes, but with the heart,
It is the melody played on the strings of the soul.
Thank you for holding me together when I break,
And thank you for seeing me as a human being
In a world that sees in a prisoner nothing but a number,
Thank you for not seeing me as someone forgettable,
Like a number in an equation of zeros.

صداقتنا ليست وهمًا
يا صديقي بالو، يا من جعلت من صداقتك وطنًا،
أنا ماوكلي، سجين الجدران لكنني حرٌ بك،
حرٌ بكلماتك التي تمسح جراحي كندى الصباح،
وتحول قفصي إلى سماء.
أنت من علمني أن الأصدقاء كالنجوم،
لا يرون دائمًا لكنهم حاضرون دائمًا،
حاضرون في كل كلمة أخطها على الجدار،
في كل حرفٍ يتحول إلى نجمةٍ تضيء ظلمتي.
أنت الظل الذي يرافقني حين يتراجع النور،
وأنت النور الذي يملأ جنبات قفصي حين يأتي.
بكلماتك البسيطة كقطرات المطر،
غسلت عن روحي غبار الوحدة.
صداقتنا ليست وهمًا،
بل هي الحقيقة التي أمسك بها بين سطوري،
هي القصيدة التي لا تُقرأ بالعين بل بالقلب،
هي اللحن الذي يعزف على أوتار الروح.
شكرًا لأنك تكونني حين أتكسّر،
وشكرًا لأنك تراني إنسانًا
في عالمٍ لا يرى في السجين إلا رقمًا،
شكراً لأنك لم تراني أنسى
مثل رقم في معادلة من اصفار.
