The Only Hope

Life is a blessing from God,
But it is nothing more than a brief passage.
It carries us through cycles of perishing and renewal,
Death, then resurrection,
Then another death, then resurrection anew,
Until existence ends,
And we are asked about what we put forth and what we delayed.

The question remains at the end of the journey:
Who is the victor?
And who is the loser?

In the game of life, there is no true victor,
For everyone is departing,
And everyone leaves behind what they gathered.
No wealth remains,
No status endures,
No body is immortalized.

But,
One thing remains that we take with us:
Our deeds.

They alone determine the ending,
Either eternal bliss in Paradise,
Or torment in Hell.

*"And those who believed and did righteous deeds - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally."*

That is our only hope,
To be among the winners in the Hereafter,
Not among the losers who disbelieved and disobeyed God
For the sake of what is transient,
And were heedless of the end.

*"Whoever does righteousness - it is for his [own] soul; and whoever does evil [does so] against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants."*

الأمل الوحيد

الحياة نعمة من الله،
لكنها ليست سوى عبورٍ قصير.
تمضي بنا في دوائر الفناء والتجدد،
موتٌ فبعث،
ثم موتٌ آخر، فبعثٌ من جديد،
إلى أن ينتهي الوجود،
ونُسأل عمّا قدّمنا، وعمّا أخّرنا.

ويبقى السؤال في آخر الرحلة:
من المنتصر؟
ومن الخاسر؟

في لعبة الحياة لا منتصر حقيقي،
فالكل راحل،
والكل تاركٌ خلفه ما جمع.
فلا مالٌ يبقى،
ولا جاهٌ يدوم،
ولا جسدٌ يُخلّد.

لكن،
يبقى شيءٌ واحدٌ نأخذه معنا:
أعمالُنا.

هي وحدها من تُحدّد النهاية،
إما خلودًا في الجنة،
أو عذابًا في الجحيم.

﴿وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ﴾

ذلك هو أملُنا الوحيد،
أن نكون من الفائزين في الآخرة،
لا من الخاسرين الذين كفروا وعصوا الله
من أجل ما هو فانٍ،
وغفلوا عن النهاية.

﴿مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ﴾
