Without Feelings

Perhaps some of us, and they are, unfortunately, many,
are like robots without a pulse or thought.
They see the blood of innocents bleeding from the body of humanity,
and they remain silent, as if they are without feelings. 

They pass among the corpses without being affected,
as if death is an ordinary sight that stirs nothing within them. 
Mercy has died within them, and their eyes have gone blind,
as if they are dead while they are still alive.

The innocents cry out of hunger,
they die with agonizing slowness, 
they moan in corners without food or even a piece of bread,
they collapse onto the rubble, and the roof of their shelter is the sky,
but the hearts of those who are like robots don't beat with love and tenderness. 

Have their souls died?
Have their consciences departed?
Has their voice of truth vanished? 
So they remain silent, 
as if silence is an act of honor
for those who claim to be human,
but they are not.

I am not a prophet, nor do I possess a magic wand,
but I am a voice crying out in the night of injustice.
I write with my tears and sing of my pain,
may my words touch a heart that has not yet died.

بلا مشاعر

وربما بعضنا، وهم للأسف كثر، 
كأنهم روبوتات بلا نبض ولا فكر.
يرون دم الأبرياء ينزف من جسد الإنسانية،
ويصمتون كأنهم بلا مشاعر.

يمرّون بين الجثث دون أن يتأثروا،
كأن الموت مشهد عادي لا يحرّك فيهم شيئًا.
ماتت فيهم الرحمة، وعمت أعينهم،
كأنهم أموات وهم ما زالوا على قيد الحياة.

الأبرياء يبكون جوعًا،
يموتون ببطء شديد الألم،
يئنّون في الزوايا بلا طعام ولا حتى كسرة خبز،
ينهارون على الأنقاض، وسقف مأواهم السماء،
لكن قلوب هؤلاء من هم كالروبوتات، لا تنبض بالحب والحنان.

هل ماتت أرواحهم؟
هل رحلت ضمائرهم؟
هل إختفى صوتهم للحق؟
فيظلون صامتين، 
كما لو أن الصمت فعلًا يشرفهم
من يدّعون أنهم بشر،
وهم ليسوا كذلك.

أنا لست نبيًا، ولا أملك عصًا سحرية،
لكنني صوت يصرخ في ليل الظلم.
أكتب بدمعي، وأغني ألمي،
عسى كلماتي تلامس قلبًا لم يمت بعد.
