Why? 

Look at this world of continuous suffering in unending torment,
Much sadness and great pain,
Some cry, some fall ill, some are born disabled, disfigured, or insane,
Some lose their loved ones,
Some go to prisons of torment,
All of this happens in a fleeting life from which we take nothing.

Why all this?
Why are we truly here?
For this?

Are we in hell and denying it,
With a faint hope that we will return to Paradise
Which we left long ago,
Because we ate the forbidden apple inspired by a devil?
Did we truly commit that sin that greatly angered God?
They say Adam, Eve, and the devil did that,
Why are we punished for a sin they committed,
Before we even existed?
Why are we punished for a sin that is not ours?

Or are we here in a hell of unending torment,
To please God, as religions tell us?
Is unjustified suffering necessary
To prove faith in God and obedience to Him?
Or all this continuous suffering and unending torment?
So that we fear not to disobey God?
Is this truly correct?

And the question remains,
why all this?
What is its purpose?
Why are we truly here?
Are we in hell,
Living with the illusion of returning to Paradise,
In a time that may never come,
Existing only in the legends of religions?

لماذا؟ 

انظر إلى هذا هذا العالم من المعاناة المستمرة في عذاب لا ينتهي،
حزن كثير والم كبير،
البعض يبكي والبعض يمرض والبعض يولد معاق أو مشوه أو مجنون،
والبعض يفقد من يحب،
والبعض يذهب إلى سجون العذاب،
كل هذا يحصل في حياة فانية لا نأخذ منها شيئًا.

لماذا كل هذا؟
لماذا نحن موجودون حقًا؟
لأجل هذا؟

هل نحن في الجحيم وننكر ذلك،
مع امل واهن اننا سوف نعود إلى الفردوس
الذي تركناه منذ زمن بعيد،
لأننا اكلنا التفاحة المحرمة بوحي شيطاني؟
هَلْ نَحْنُ حقًا ارتكبنا ذلك الذنب الذي اغضب الله كثيرًا؟
يقولون ادم وحواء والشيطان فعلو ذلك،
لماذا نعاقب على ذنب هم ارتكبوه،
قبل أن يكون لنا وجود؟
لماذا نعاقب على ذنب ليس ذنبنا؟

ام اننا هنا في جحيمٍ عذابه لا ينتهي،
لكي نرضي الله كما تقول الاديان لنا؟
هل العذاب الغير مببرر ضروري
لاثبات الإيمان بالله وطاعته؟
ام كل هذه المعاناة المستمرة والعذاب الذي لا ينتهي؟
من أجل أن نخاف لكي لا نعصى الله؟
هل هذا صحيح حقآ؟

ويبقى السؤال،
لماذا كل هذا؟
ما الغاية منه؟
لماذا نحن موجودون حقًا؟
هل نحن في الجحيم،
نعيش مع وهم العودة إلى الفردوس،
في زمن قد لا يأتي
موجود في اساطير الأديان؟
