A Journey in Darkness

Truth, 
Is not a light at the end of the tunnel,
But a tunnel with no end,
A darkness walking within you,
The more you advance in it,  
The greater the distance between you and it becomes.

It is not certainty,
But a question that multiplies,
Growing inside you, 
As if you are a tree of shadows
That does not know where the sun comes from.

Am I here?
Do those around me see me?
Do they see me as I am?
Or as they imagine me to be?

Everything around me resembles a mirage,
And every thought,
Every image,
Every feeling, 
Might be a dream I dreamt in a delusion.

And if we exist,
By what logic were we found?
Is there one who created us?
Or are we the echo of an unknown thought?

Truth, 
Is not an answer,
But a path of questions,
You ask a question,
And another question is born,
So existence extends in a maze of possibilities.

So, is the truth, 
That we do not know the truth?

رحلة في الظلام

الحقيقة، 
ليست نورًا في آخر النفق،
بل نفقٌ لا آخر له،
ظلامٌ يسير فيك،
كلما تقدّمتَ فيه،
ازدادت المسافة بينكَ وبينها. 

هي ليست يقينًا،
بل سؤالٌ يتكاثر،
ينمو في داخلك،
كأنك شجرةُ ظلال
لا تعرف من أين تأتي الشمس.

أأنا هنا؟
أيراني من حولي؟
أيرونَني كما أكون؟
أم كما يظنّون؟

كل شيءٍ حولي يشبه السراب،
وكل فكرة،
كل صورة،
كل شعور،
قد يكون حلمًا حلمتُه ذات وهم.

وإن كنا موجودين،
فبأي منطق وُجدنا؟
أيوجد من أوجدنا؟
أم نحن صدى فكرٍ مجهول؟

الحقيقة،
ليست جوابًا،
بل طريقٌ من أسئلة،
تسأل السؤال،
فيولد سؤالًا آخر،
ليمتد الوجود في متاهةٍ من احتمالات.

فهل الحقيقة،
أننا لا نعرف الحقيقة؟
