To Allah I Return

Who has nothing cannot give,  

Do not blame the evil ones, for they know not.  

The best of creation once said a supplication that inspires me:  

"My Lord, forgive them, for they do not know."

I have surrendered myself to my Lord, in trust,  

For Allah is sufficient for me, the best disposer of affairs.  

He is my light in the darkness, my refuge,  

With His strength, I rise and find peace.

I will endure the trials, and will not turn to evil,  

I will remain kind, honest, and in awe of the Merciful.  

With prayer, I raise my hands, seeking His shelter,  

For Allah is my fortress, and upon Him I always rely. 

Thank You, my Lord, for all Your blessings,  

You are the Forgiving, the Merciful, the Generous.  

From You comes life, and to You we return,  

In Your eternal paradise, I hope to be worthy.

In the end, O Lord, to You we return,  

By Your love we live, and Your light guides us.  

Amen, O Lord of the worlds,  

For You are the Truth, and your enemy is falsehood, and You are over all things Powerful.

إلى الله أرجع

مَنْ لَا يَمْلِكُ شَيْئًا لَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ،  

لَا تَلُمْ أَهْلَ الشَّرِّ فَهُمْ لَا يَدْرُونَ.  

قَالَ خَيْرُ الْخَلْقِ دُعَاءً رَاحَ يُلْهِمُنِي:  

"رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ، فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ."

سَلَّمْتُ نَفْسِي لِرَبِّي وَاثِقًا،  

فَحَسْبِيَ اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ.  

هُوَ نُورِي فِي الظَّلَامِ وَمَلْجَئِي،  

بِقُوَّتِهِ أَرْفَعُ الرُّوحَ وَأَسْتَقِيلُ.

سَأَصْبِرُ فِي الْبَلْوَى، لَنْ أَتَّجِهْ لِشَرٍّ،  

سَأَبْقَى طَيِّبًا، صَادِقًا، أَخْشَى الرَّحِيمَ.  

بِالدُّعَاءِ أَرْفَعُ كَفِّي، أَسْتَجِيرُ بِهِ،  

فَاللهُ حِصْنِي وَعَلَيْهِ أَتَوَكَّلُ دَائِمًا.

شُكْرًا لَكَ يَا رَبِّ عَلَى كُلِّ النِّعَمِ،  

فَأَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ، أَنْتَ الرَّحِيمُ، أَنْتَ الْكَرِيمُ.  

مِنْكَ الْحَيَاةُ وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ،  

فِي جَنَّتِكَ الْخُلْدِ أَرْجُو أَنْ أَلِيقَ.

فِي النِّهَايَةِ، يَا رَبِّ، إِلَيْكَ نَعُودُ،  

بِحُبِّكَ نَحْيَا، وَنُورُكَ يَهْدِينَا.  

آمِينَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ،  

فَأَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَعَدُوكَ الْبَاطِلُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
