I'm alone waiting 

I'm alone waiting 

in the darkness 

with a little hope 

Painting by its light 

the black that is

around me everywhere

wants to swallow

all the colors 

As the grey swallows

the black of my hair 

The dark cold

of my growing old

swallows slowly

my age warmth 

by the time 

Until my life light

will turn off 

To become 

that little point 

in the darkness

again as many again

before and after 

The small life that 

grows in the darkness 

to reborn again 

New beginning 

in the light

of a new life again 

With a little hope 

fights the despair 

As the lights

fights the dark 

As the reborn 

fights the death 

Until I will be again 

alone waiting 

in the darkness 

with no end for again

The life is a mystery 

between two ashes 

From ash to ash 

we go back 

From the black 

to the black 

We return many again
