Alas 

My dear love 
You are in my heart 
with my love for you 
Alas 
You are not destined 
To be with me 
My soul is guarding you 
all my life it is with you 
Alas 
I waited for you all my life 
But unfortunately 
you came so too late 
I'm now foot in life 
and foot in the grave
Alas 
Unfortunately 
never destined for me 
to live in happiness 
If I die so soon 
I will be so happy 
Because no hope 
To can be with you 
in my live 
Unfortunately impossible 
I am so slowly dying 
In very sadness 
In great pain 
Maybe in my death 
I will take rest from 
living in disillusioned crying 
But I am sure
I would be uncomfortable 
even if I am dead in my grave 
I will shout loudly 
In pain and sorrow 
With my tears of remorse 
for the life that 
I have lived without you 
my dear love
