My memories in my poetic works 

My name is Fady BouAz 

An Arab from Lebanon 

I came to the life

From fifty-two years 

When I began able to speak 

My questions began inside me 

Why this happens

Why this does not happen 

Why are not all the things 

The same in the world 

Why the sun and the moon

Everywhere are following me 

I went to the school 

And I started to know 

Some answers to some questions 

From many I didn't know 

Their answers yet 

I was always the first 

In my studying in my school 

Many looked at me with a smile

I am whom is waiting for him

A great future is successful 

But unfortunately the civil war began

Destroyed everything even my dreams

With my hopes in my great future 

We escaped from death many times 

My house was destroyed and burned 

Many times we had to live 

In many different places 

To escape from the savage war cruel damages 

And finally after ten years 

We left to another country 

After my house family was destroyed 

And unfortunately many members 

From my family were wounded 

And unfortunately my girl love died

Whom I was near to be with her 

To complete my life with her my only love

As my wife as my kids mother 

And I had to stop my studying

My family was in financial crisis 

I had to work away from it until now 

In many different foreign far places 

My many poetic writings were lost 

As the war damages 

And now I am at my way life end

Alone from a long time ago 

With a sick heart

With a tired soul

With my sad disappointment 

Sharing my feelings 

From my life experiences 

As poetic words are talking about me 

To be my memories in my poetic works
