I Shall keep Sowing 

I am a man of global peace, not of war,  
Yet they do not want me to exist.  
Still,  
I will go on sowing words  
In barren lands like deserts, 
Flowers of love, peace, humanity, and goodness, 
Slain by the thorns  
Of arrogant, wicked, selfish interests.

O you arrogant selfish, evildoers,  
Look into the tearful eyes of children, 
You will see your own reflections there:  
Human beasts.  
And you will see their great fear of you.

It is the time to teach ourselves,  
And teach those who come after us,  
To stop repeating our mistakes, 
To stop killing every chance for peace.

And I shall always be  
Like one who sows in the storm, 
Not waiting for a harvest,  
But to grow a path for the lost ones in silence.

I shall keep sowing love against their hatred.  
I shall keep sowing peace against their deadly victories in war.  
I shall keep sowing humanity in the face of their painful bloody savagery.  
I shall keep sowing goodness, despite their evil.

I shall keep sowing,
Not for a reward,
But to leave behind me 
A torch of hope
For those who still walk in the darkness.

سأظلّ أزرع

أنا رجلُ سلامٍ عالمي، لا رجلَ حرب،
لكنّهم لا يريدونني أن أكون موجودًا.
ومع ذلك،
سأستمرّ في زرعِ الكلماتِ
في أرضٍ قاحلةٍ كالصحراء،
زهورَ حبٍّ وسلامٍ وإنسانيّةٍ وخيرٍ،
تقتلها أشواكُ المصالحِ
الأنانيةِ الشريرةِ المتغطرسة.

أيّها الأشرارُ الأنانيّون المتغطرسون،
انظروا في عيونِ الأطفالِ الباكية،
سترَون انعكاسَ صورِكم فيها:
وحوشًا بشريّة،
وسترَون خوفَهم الكبيرَ منكم.

لقد آنَ الأوانُ أن نُعلّم أنفسَنا،
ونُعلّم من يأتي من بعدِنا،
أن نتوقّفَ عن تكرارِ أخطائنا،
في قتلِ كلِّ فرصةٍ للسلام.

وسأكونُ دائمًا،
مثلَ من يزرعُ في العاصفة،
لا أنتظرُ حصادًا،
بل لأنبت دربا للتائهين بصمت. 

سأظلّ أزرع الحُبَّ ضدَّ كراهيتهم،
سأظلّ أزرع السلامَ ضدَّ انتصاراتِهم القاتلةِ في الحروب،
سأظلّ أزرع الإنسانيّةَ في وجهِ همجيّتهم الدمويةِ المؤلمة،
سأظلّ أزرع الخيرَ، رغمَ شرّهم.

سأظلّ أزرع،
لا طمعًا في جزاء،
بل لأترك خلفي
شعلة أملٍ،
لمن لا يزالون يمشون في الظلام.
