Alas

I returned in my memory  

To that beautiful day,  

The day our eyes met in great love,

And our souls drew closer with great longing. 

We walked together toward the fields,  

Beneath the sun, above the grass,

Then we lay upon the earth,  

As if the world had vanished,  

And only we remained.  

The breeze covered us,  

Touched our warm skin,  

And cooled the fire of longing and desire.  

We were alone,  

Living a pure moment of love,  

Drawing with our hearts  

The meaning of deep human passion.  

It was a wonderful day,  

One of the few happy days,  

I lived it with unforgettable joy,  

And it left behind  

Memories of a joyful past,  

With my dear beloved.

Then came the sound of war,  

And your laughter fell silent forever,  

And birds dropped from their nests,  

And the warmth of your hands vanished from mine,  

As if the earth had swallowed the spring.  

Alas,  

I remained alone without you,  

With my great love and longing for you,  

And a deep feeling of sorrow, pain, and despair.  

Alas,  

That beautiful day,  

One of the few lovely days,  

Will never return,

I lived it with you  

In the overwhelming joy of love,  

With dreams full of hope  

For a future that would unite us  

In love, happiness, and peace, 

But it never came true.

واحسرتاه 

عدتُ بذاكرتي  

إلى ذلك اليوم الجميل،  

يوم التقت نظراتنا بحبٍ كبير،

وتقاربت أرواحنا بشوق كبير. 

مشينا معًا نحو الحقول،  

تحت الشمس، فوق الأعشاب، 

ثم تمددنا على الأرض، 

كأن العالم قد اختفى،  

ولم يبقَ سوانا.  

نسيم الريح غطّانا،  

لامس بشرتنا الدافئة،  

وبرد نار الشوق والرغبة.  

كنا وحدنا،  

نعيش لحظة حب خالصة،  

نرسم بقلوبنا معنى  

الشغف الإنساني العميق.  

كان يومًا رائعًا،  

من أيام قليلة سعيدة،  

عشته بفرح لا يُنسى،  

وترك ذكريات  

ماضٍ سعيد،  

مع حبيبتي العزيزة. 

ثم جاء صوت الحرب،  

فصمتت ضحكتكِ إلى الأبد،  

وسقطت الطيور من أعشاشها،  

واختفى دفء يديكِ من يدي،  

كأنّ الأرض ابتلعت الربيع.  

واحسرتاه، 

بقيتُ وحيدًا من دونك،  

مع حبي وشوقي الكبيرين لك،  

وشعورٍ عميقٍ بالحزن، والألم، واليأس.  

واحسرتاه، 

ذلك اليوم الجميل 

من ايام جميلة قليلة 

لن تعود ابدا،

عشتها معك

بسعادة الحب الغامرة، 

وأحلام كلها امل

بمستقبل يجمعنا معًا

بالحب والسعادة وسلام، 

لكنها لم تتحقق. 

واحسرتاه.
